Those of you that follow NFL football closely may have noticed that there are quite a few games today. The first one is a Monday night game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions. It’s a great matchup for both teams, but it’s likely that Kansas City will win the day. The other game of the day is on Sunday night between the Washington Redskins and the Pittsburgh Steelers. It’s a matchup that’s sure to be a thriller.
During Super Bowl LIII, Tom Brady became the oldest quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl. He was 41 years, six months, and 37 days old, and he threw 24 touchdown passes. In addition, he was also the oldest quarterback to lead his team to a Super Bowl.
If he plays well in this year’s Super Bowl, Tom Brady will have an opportunity to break the record. He will be 45 years, 53 days old when he takes the field on February 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
At this point, he has won eight Super Bowls with the Patriots, and he has played in 19 seasons. He has been named Super Bowl MVP three times, and he has earned four Super Bowl trophies. He has been named to 14 Pro Bowls. He has also won nine division titles, and seven Super Bowls in his career. He has won the NFL’s most prestigious award, the Super Bowl MVP, five times.
Brady’s contract with the Patriots expires after the 2020 season, and it doesn’t allow the team to put the franchise tag on him. If he plays at least three more years, he can become the oldest quarterback to ever win a Super bowl.
Sunday Night Football vs Monday Night Football
Whether you’re a fan of football, or simply love a good TV show, it’s worth considering how these shows compare. After all, Monday Night Football and Sunday Night Football are the two premier football programs that air on primetime, and both have been dominating the ratings game for the past five years.
NBC was awarded the NFL’s Sunday-night package. This allows the network to have access to all of the Sunday Night Football games this season. They’re also able to shift games, meaning that they can air more favourable matchups in prime time. This means that they’re usually more successful than MNF, which has struggled with ratings this season.
On Sunday night, the Los Angeles Chargers will play the Miami Dolphins. Both teams are in the race for the final playoff spot in the AFC. The Dolphins are a game behind the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East. A victory for the Dolphins could potentially lock them into the playoffs, while the Chargers have one game to go to catch the Bills.
During this season’s MNF, John Madden and Al Michaels will call the games. They’ll be joined by other prominent voices in the broadcast, including Melissa Stark, Rodney Harrison, Tony Dungy, Chris Simms, and Jac Collinsworth.
Week 10 of the 2022 season
Despite the fact that NFL Week 10 isn’t even over yet, we’re already looking ahead to Week 11, with a number of key bye weeks and games set to kick off during that period. If you’re a fantasy football manager, you should know which players are taking byes, how long they’ll be out, and what type of bye-week coverage you can expect. If you’re not, you might find yourself scrambling for replacements.
In the NFL, Week 10 features a few notable matchups, including the first ever regular-season game in Munich, Germany, and an exciting Dallas Cowboys-Green Bay Packers clash. Then there’s the New York Jets’ visit to the Patriots.
The Chargers are ranked second in the AFC West, while the Bengals are tied for the second spot in the AFC North. The Jaguars aren’t far behind, averaging 31.5 points per game on offense, but they’re only getting two fewer points at Arrowhead than the Titans.
A few other games of interest include the Philadelphia Eagles’ visit to the Washington Commanders, the Dolphins’ visit to the Seahawks, and the Seattle Seahawks’ visit to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Jaguars are a decent team, but they’re missing a few pieces of their offensive puzzle.
